^This. ALITS was the highlight of the set, but they killed it tonight. They played with a lot of energy, Chester sounded awesome and looked more badass than ever, Brad put out some really good solos. Overall, this was the best LP show I've seen since Rock in Rio Lisboa 2012.
ALITS can hop on the next train to "fuck yourself Land" and let GATS & Final Masquerade come back #GimmeBackWhat'sMine
So why only play two songs from the THP? Like, Linkin Park setlists never make any sense to me, but I think for the first time ever this has reached a new low. Just two songs? Not even 3, just 2? I wonder what goes on through their heads when they pick these setlists. But honestly, I'm not going to complain about the setlist and I would love that setlist if I was at the concert, but It just makes no sense.
This isn't really a "rock" festival. Taylor Swift and Robin Thicke are among the lineup as well, which could be the reason why the crowd isn't that lively. Anyway, ALITS.
As excited as I am for ALITS, I'm really sad to see GATS go. Mike sounds surprisingly great on it, and the part where Chester comes in before the chorus sounds surprisingly good.
Watching ALITS performance again on youtube, I gotta say, I don't remember an LP song sounding this good while making its live debut. At least in recent memory. The band really handled it pretty well. Now if they wanna perform only 2 THP songs, get rid of Wastelands and bring back GATS, and I'd be totally happy!
I can't believe they dropped Guilty All The Same. The best song they ever made. Damn you, Linkin Park. - Even though it's one of my least favorite LP songs, ALITS sounded better live than in studio, minus the guitars. The guitar sound wasn't right, but vocally it was on point, and it felt nice to hear Chester in that song. The crowd was like "wtf is this?"
