Hey, guys. I need to know some more details about that show: Dublin, Ireland (Reading Ireland) 2003.08.20 Show Notes: - After playing a few songs, the crowd that was mainly made of up of all Metallica fans had had enough and started bottling and booing the band heavily. LP finished the set regardless, but it seems this is the first time that the band was bottled since 2001. Linkin Park later called this the hardest show they have ever played. Any details ?
Not the only instance where it's happened. It's rumoured (meaning that I never went looking for confirmation myself) that the band were not received well by Australian audiences when they toured as part of the Livid line-up in 2003. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be much to tell with these things, just ~rock~ fans being what they are. Here's an excerpt of a review of that Ireland show from Sorted:
They'll go again along with Metallica again at Rock in Rio USA,right? Wish Mike still got those ninja skillz to catch the bottles
Plus fucking ONE!!! Minus the kappa, which is useless, considering no one's gonna take that statement seriously anyway
At first I thought this thread was going to be about which setlist consisted of the most heavy songs. Now I'm wondering what their "heaviest" setlist is. I would think meteora days but the Faint/OSC outros, NMS, Rebellion, GATS, QWERTY, and Victimized bring some serious heaviness.
