Damn yep, can't believe it has already been 1 year since GATS release. I remember overplaying the shit out of it as it happened yesterday. And to this day, the song still gives me chills.

and even weirder. steve aoki who collaborated is born also in 1977

Rob's two years younger and Chester's a year older.

It's not a coincidence though, most of them lived nearby. Brad saw Rob, they formed a band, Mike saw them play, Mike and Brad formed a band and asked Rob to join, and then Joe went to Mike's same institution (art center), and Dave was Brad's room mate. Chester was the only out of loop person.That's how the band came to be.
