I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this. But, what if a band member dies? How will the band react? What steps will it take? What will happen to Linkin Park?

Well, i think this is a question you could ask some years later, the guys are just in the middle of there 30s. But if they should have a exident, i think it would be hard to replace some of them. Dont know.

Well, it would depend on the member. Some would be hard to replace than others. If one of the two vocalists died it would cause at least a few year hiatus. Though it might result in the end of the band. If one of the others died there might be a small hiatus but I think the band would go on.

Well... that escalated quickly. You're not planning to kill anyone, are you? But in seriousness, I don't think LP would continue if anyone died. They're all best friends, I think if anything were to happen to anyone in the band, be it Phoenix, Joe, or Chester, they wouldn't continue. So if you're looking for better guitars, better bass or better sampling... try not to kill any of the band members. You won't get what you're looking for.

If it's Brad they'll just never say anything and nobody will ever know the difference. They'll just Weekend at Bernies him on tour for a while.

    Get it.

Because he's not a great guitarist and I'm implying he could be a lifeless husk and nobody would notice a difference with the guitars.

    I'm a laugh riot.

I think Chester and Mike will move onto their side projects. Joe will probably completely focus on his direction and art career and I don't think we'll hear of the others again.

That reminds me, Brad's headphones and Chester's flame tattoo get way more air-time on live recordings than poor Hahn ever does .

Well this doesn't make much sense. I don't think I would want the band to end if I was the one who died. Think of Deftones. They didn't quit either even though most of them have side projects that could be focussed on.

Honestly, I think this thread is pointless and even a little creepy. Why even think about something like this? If it happens, the band will handle it in the way they feel is best...but in the meantime lets not talk about the possibility of any of the band members dying. I'm pretty sure the band would feel really uncomfortable to even have this topic come up for discussion.

That being said, I'm closing this thread. Let's not be creepy, folks!
