According to this post on linkinpark.com, an episode of "Guitar Center Sessions" focused on Linkin Park will be airing exclusively on DirecTV's Audience network (channel 239) on Friday, December 5 at 9 PM. The show's website tells us that the episode will feature footage from the band's performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles from earlier this year in October, as well as an interview with band members Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington covering the band's career from the start until now. As part of the lead-up to the episode's airing, an exclusive video of Linkin Park performing their 2003 smash-hit "Numb" live at The Wiltern has been uploaded to Guitar Center's official YouTube channel, along with another preview video of sorts consisting of "behind-the-scenes" footage: Linkin Park are among many music stars appearing on "Guitar Center Sessions" in its current season; other episodes will feature artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Neon Trees and The Gaslight Anthem. I have DirecTV but I live in Argentina, can I watch It? By the way, the "behind the scenes" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrTDoiiQk4g
Hands down the best Final Masquerade performance we have seen in pro quality. Would have nailed it perfectly if Chester didn't mess up the "moment washed AWAY". Always misses that "Away".
Awesome performance of Final Masquerade. But I'm totally annoyed by Brad's LIVE appearance on Numb, it's like he's bored, I don't know if that's the right term to describe him. He's not the same Delson we've known from MTM and ATS days or even HT and Meteora days. Don't tell me, He will the first member to exit in the band few years from now.
It's the right term. "Numb" is a fucking boring song, and you'd probably agree with my opinion that it should be permanently excised from future shows, casual fans be damned
Until It's Gone (Shortened Version)
Tbh, I think Chester sings the track too hard live. He hits the notes, but he always looks like he's straining when he sings it.
Yeah, the way I see it, one person quits, everyone exits the band. Mike goes solo and Chester goes off with another band. Joe goes off with his movie career and we never hear about the other guys again. Hopefully, this doesn't happen. I always thought Brad hated live performances. He exits(atleast hides in the back or something) the stage when he doesn't have stuff to do(Unlike Mike, Joe or Phoenix, who just stand there in their places) and he is also kinda peculiar live But, that was the show they did after he was sick and missed two Brazil concerts. Although, if you think he isn't that interested, you should watch the O2 Arena in London show's videos, Brad improvised on the BIO guitarline and did a lot more than usual in that show.
Yeah, I saw the video you mentioned about the O2 Arena show, Hell yeah! Brad did finger tapping at the end of the BIO. It's awesome to see Brad doing something that is unusual & unexpected, I hope he will continue that kind of style. And also, I saw the video of Faint with Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men, and it's cool that Austin did the backing vocals (like from the studio version of Faint) where he is extending his scream. So cool.
I still don't understand why they felt the need to shorten "Until It's Gone" but continue to play songs like "Numb" in full
They really should play Until It's Gone in full, but I don't mind the feedback transition to the second verse, sounds really good.
