    Scale the Summit are an instrumental progressive/"adventure" metal band from Texas.

    They have 4 albums;
    "Monument" (2007)
    "Carving Desert Canyons" (2009)
    "The Collective" (2011)
    "The Migration" (2013)

    The band is made up of:
    Chris Letchford - Guitar (& main songwriter. Earlier this year he released a solo Jazz Fusion album called "Lightbox")
    Travis LeVrier - Guitar
    Pat Skeffington - Drums
    Mark Michell - Bass (Joined the band in 2012 after original bassist Jordan Eberhardt left)

    I've heard of these guys, I still need to check them out. I've heard The Collective and The Mirgration are great albums. From the vids above, they seem pretty great.

    If I may recommend some Instrumental Metal:

    (the quality of the that video sucks though)

    The Migration & Carving Desert Canyons are both damn good albums. CDC is more consistent front to back than TM, but TM is more dynamic and melodic.

    The Collective though, now that album is a masterpiece. The youtube playlist for that whole record is here:

    As I mentioned in the first post, Chris Letchford release a solo "jazz fusion" record called "Lightbox" in 2014, so I figured I'd post some of those songs here:
