Exam (2009) – Compelling, but the ending is quite... meh. 7/10

    Gone Girl - 6.5/10

Decent film! Really enjoyed the first half but I didn't really like the ending, tbh.

    Gone Girl 8/10

Great movie, i normally dont look this kind of movies.
From the begining about some really strange things it was just a thing that hit me.

After the movie i got a kind of a "WTF", "what did i see?" feeling

Guardians of the Galaxy 8/10: So I find myself in a similar boat as the one I was in for Gravity. I'm just not buying the hype. Though I'm not going to sit here trash this movie like I did Gravity because I really did enjoy the movie a lot. I just didn't find it to be the end all, be all for Marvel movies. Funny, fun action, good story. My only problem is that I didn't get super attached to the characters. Maybe the second movie will do better in that department.

Gone Girl 9/10: Jesus fucking Christ, this movie is twisted and not even in a traditional sense. David Fincher just has a way of making fucked up shit funny.

    Spoilers below:

The whole ending with dezy and her coming covered in his blood was just fucking ridiculous which I'm not sure is a compliment or not. I guess I had fun watching it, so compliment?

Also Trent and Atticus fucking strike again. Jesus, are these two good.

One reason why I hate cinemas here: Gone Girl almost has no cinemas left in its second week. The only cinema here that screens it is a really old theater that I rarely go to.

    Housebound - 6/10

Reminded me a little of Tucker and Dale VS. Evil but not as good. It was entertaining enough, but I wish I would have spent the time on something else. Not worth watching really. The lead actress caught my attention, though.

Mall by Joseph Hahn- Okay movie  . The soundtrack sounds great with the movie but at some parts its almost like he's trying to make the soundtrack gel with the movie. For eg, atleast twice in the movie, the pretentious kid(Jeff? He looks kinda cute) is walking slowly for minutes on a stretch while Shinoda is singing in the back. Although, Terrified/White Noise sounds great in the movie. I just think that's excessive. And the dialogue in the movie is very cringe-worthy. It was kinda unnatural. I don't think the acting was that bad. The actors who played Mal, Danny and Jeff(?) were fine but the rest weren't that great. Although, I do like visual aspect of the movie. I think Hahn is good at that. The movie felt like it was trying to be dark and crazy at times but I guess that's subjective.

Step Up: All In - 1 out of 5

The thinnest entry in the franchise isn't nearly as flashy and loses its moral sendoff in the final minutes, unlike its predecessors. However, at least they brought back Briana Evigan - great call.

Fury. Surprisingly good. Never really thought of the logistics of tank-fighting, but this movie shed a lot of light into how hard it would have been during World War II.

    Annabelle - 1 out of 5

Although there are a handful of good jump scares, when the big reveal comes along, it's a borefest.

Edge Of Tomorrow / Live. Die. Repeat. / All You Need Is Kill / Whatever the fuck you want to call it - 9/10

It's as good as critics are saying it is, and deserves a hell of a lot more attention. It has an amazing plot, implementing comedy at just the right moments. It's backed up by amazing acting, especially with the chemistry between Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. And while we're talking about Emily Blunt, damn she looked hot in that movie.
