I'm not digging "All for Nothing" and "War" that much. "Drawbar" is growing on me, although I still find it disappointing.
1. Until It's gone 2. War 3. Guilty All the Same 4. Wastelands 5. Keys to the Kingdom Unlike most of you, I dig Mark the Graves, All for Nothing and Final Masquerade xD
Let's think... War Mark The Graves A Line In The Sand Keys To The Kingdom ... I like the last 2, just not as much as some others.
1. Wastelands 2. Until It's Gone 3. Drawbar 4. A Line In The Sand 5. War Wastelands and UIG are the only ones I don't like much, the other three I like, just not as much as the rest of the album.
Until It's Gone - One of the their worst songs, just terrible - though the bridge is kind of okay to be honest Wastelands - Same as above Guilty All the Same -Not as bad as the two songs above, but still not that good for me. I love the bridge though The Summoming - Doesn't really add anything for me All For Nothing - I don't think it is a bad song, though there's surely nothing too special about it in my opinion. It is a fun song to listen to. I still listen to it once in a while, but not as much as the rest of the album. I like it, but I'd say it is a bit weak compared to the rest of the album.
Wow, the most frequently listed "worst" songs on here are easily among my favorite (KTTK, War, ALITS, Wastelands) and others. I also find this thread's lack of faith in A Line in the Sand....disturbing, very disturbing. I think if we look at the song as objectively as possible, we can see how it is one of the band's best instrumentally, given it's evolving structure and complexity. To clarify, wasn't it said before that the guitar work in this song used different techniques atypical of standard LP "rock" songs? And yes, I really do believe that ALITS is easily one of, if not the best, closing tracks LP has ever done. It just screams, "This is it, this is the climax" better than any other LP closing track to me, although Powerless does a great job of evoking that same feeling, given it's overall tone and lyrics. Oh, and to answer the topic, I honestly couldn't list five songs that I think are the worst, as I have found something to like about all of them!
The only song I don't like is All For Nothing. The rest of the album is fantastic. For me it's their best album!
