They're both correct.

 

So on December 13th, I'll be seeing Opeth and In Flames in concert, and will quite possibly see Animals as Leaders and Devin Townsend at the very same place two days prior. Man, that is going to be a GREAT week! (In Flames aside of course)

 

Just listened to Coldplay's X&Y for the first time.

I now know why people found this album underwhelming.

 

I've still never given it a proper listen. Songs like Speed of Sound have really turned me off from giving it a shot. Fix You, and the B-side Gravity are fantastic though.

 

It's their most electric guitar oriented album. "Square One", "Fix You" and "Talk" are standouts, but the songs in the album suffer from little replay value.

I don't know why, but I find Andreina's football commentary on Twitter funny.

 

Ah! I have to go to that fucking DTP show! I missed a bunch of shows this year (Septicflesh still hurts. Heard they were fucking incredible) but I am not missing Townsend.

Pro tip: At these metal shows, if you hang around late, the bands usually come out to hang with the fans.

This year's VMAs was surprisingly tame. At least there's no mind-scarring Miley performance. Beyonce's medley was impressive. Other than that, most of the performances were not that memorable.

But all those asses though

 

Totally forgot about the VMA's.

 

This is the Adam Sandler I have never seen before, who I'd like to see in more movies. He's revelatory in this movie.

Also, this is one of the best verbal sparrings I have seen in a film.

By the way, the movie is Punch-Drunk Love, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master, There Will Be Blood, Magnolia, Boogie Nights).
