Okay, I actually like this song a hell of a lot more. I like Adam's voice very much- it's a lot deeper and different than what he usually does. The song has a unique sound to it as well. I hope Maps is the odd one out on this album, because it's one of the dumbest fucking songs they've released.
[THUMB]http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Maroon-5-Animals-2014-1200x1200.png[/THUMB] "Animals" will be released on August 25!
I'm very curious on what direction this album is going. "Maps" was very poppy, but "It Was Always You" had a retro-pop vibe that I love. I wonder if it's Jesse's return or PJ's R&B influence.
Just thought I'd post this as well...
"My Heart is Open" has premiered. Pretty gentle ballad. I like it.
Got about halfway through the album and was just way too bored with it. I'll give it another shot or two but nothing stood out to me or made me want to keep listening to it.
Are those the same chords as Sam Smith? I know the second part of the progression is a bit different on Stay With Me instead of playing the same three chords during the verse like this song
Thanks. I'll hold off the iTunes stream for the Begin Again. The Adam Levine song actually harken back to the old days of Maroon 5, albeit with a little New Radicals vibe to it (New Radicals frontman Gregg Alexander penned the songs).
Pretty fucking bad album. I'd say the only stand-out track is "It Was Always You". Most of the tracks were total shit, but the tracks on the album that weren't total wastes of space are "Animals", "Feeling", "Sex And Candy" and "Lost Stars". Even at that, I can't comfortably say any of the songs are even "good".
