    "hey so the other day mtv nominated me for two VMAs, which is so nice of them! i'm up for best female video & best rock video. the rock thing will always be weird but i'm getting used to it (apparently it's because royals was originally on the alternative charts)."

    I think it's Lorde's kind way of saying "The fuck am I doing at rock categories all the time?"

    Ironically, the only awards show that label Lorde as pop is the Grammys.
