I meant like it's gonna be the track that everyone will be over-hyped about because the limited number of people that have actually heard the track have been telling others it's the greatest thing ever, sorta like "A Sky Full of Stars" was?
Nah, its definitely paper bank, but one line that I think is different from what others have said is "And your HOPE turns into fear" rather than "world" or "heart"
But think of it this way. 2>1 So if we eventually get the full track we will have 2 amazing full tracks!
But, it means the soundtrack for the movie has MORE awesome music! What's bad about MORE awesome music? ;3
Thank you very much TurtleGuy for responding to all our questions You are great! I am really ready for this cd KTTK and ALITS were my two most looked forward to tracks and now they are even more so with all these comments Im excited! Id be very surprised if there was even one bad song on THP
I'm really hearing Pavement Bank in there now... It's always been a fuzzy line. But yes, it's definitely hope. Thought it was heart for a while, but yup, hope.
Oh no, I'm not over hyping you guys on the song. I'm an LP fan that has loved every album except MTM. I know what you want, and don't want to hear from a review. This song can't be talked about enough.
I openly admit I hate most songs on MTM. But on this one only the song WAR gave me a bad taste. Old school punk doesn't appeal to me at all. I hate the speed and I hate the singing of that type of music. Hearing Chester sing it was the only part I liked. But that's personal taste, for me, hearing it I instantly knew its the song that I'll skip over a lot.
Man, I'm jumping on the question train for a minute. The only thing I'll ask is : how did the record flow together? The short interludes at the end of UIG and Wastelands make it seem like the guys have payed attention to the transition between songs. Is that trend consistent throughout the album?
Thank you for the response I love Punk so Im sure ill like all of the album I only dislike 1 and a half LP songs anyways so I have no reason to believe a 3rd song will make my list
TurtleGuy, is there anything else you can say about Mark The Graves? Does it have electronic elements? Mike singing? Anything else worth noting??
Hey TurtleGuy, did you happen to get a chance to listen to Rebellion? If so, what was the guitar work like -- and how was the contrast between Brad's / Daron's guitar work? (Or Chester/Mike's singing compared to Daron, if he provides vocals)
Yes these are little electronic fills between the songs. Hello #HahnSamples. Actually regarding interludes at the end of All For Nothing there are little kids talking to each other and one says something like "We aren't supposed to say ____" or "I'm not supposed to say _____" I couldn't make out the last word but I'm guessing its a cuss word.
I concur with this. I did my best to equalize out the background and focus the vocals and there is a distinct hang on a "G" on what was thought to be "Bank"... Plus, this theory so far makes the most sense lyrically xD
