I think the important thing to take away from this is that we only have to suffer through one song off Meteora. Thank fucking God. The downside to this is a severe lack of ATS tracks. There are a lot of ATS-influenced interludes at the very least, but damn they could've at least thrown in WTCFM instead of With You or 0.5 Runaway.
I must have tragically repressed my memory of a one-power-chord-per-measure overplayed single. My bad.
The point is that they're creating more in-your-face, anti-establishment style music with themes of rebellion (they now even have a song called Rebellion). It's not really keeping in the theme with their direction if they're gonna call the cops on fellow musicians for smoking a bit of weed.
I liked the use of The Catalyst as a recurring theme in the set. It added a sense of cohesion to everything. I really want to see the Blackout intro to Papercut. Interested to see what that's all about. lol
Is there any video of mike rapping the rap from guilty all the same i really want to now how it sounds with mike
So because they wright about rebellion they have to condone drug use and don't have the right to call the cops on someone?
FYI, interesting tidbit.. You'll notice in the GATS video that Chester actually starts with the wrong lines for the second verse. He corrected himself halfway through but I could see him reading the lyrics off the ground. Obviously we're still a ways away from the official tour, so the guys are still working out the kinks. Hopefully the same can be said for Brad's guitar work. The show was absolutely incredible guys. Maybe a lot of it was the surprising setlist, but if you have a chance to see them this year, GO.
If you click on the link for wastelands, the same guy has uploaded the live premieres of Guilty All the Same and Until its gone.
Did Chester let the crowd do the "I WON'T BE IGNORED" scream part of Faint and did he do the "Come on" scream on With You, and were his screams like the good old times, since they are great on GATS, UIG and Bleed it out?
Maybe Chester had his family with him and he got pissed that there was weed everywhere. Rome should show some fucking respect. Btw where does it say that Chester called the cops?
I don't think it says anywhere that Chester was the one to call the cops, the tweets said Linkin Park called the cops.
that's not the point, if these guys smoke it, its their choice. weed is not like crack or heroin. calling the cops is a bit exaggerated.
