Pretty much. It has everything a Linkin Park fan could want in an LP song. Great riffs, wonderful drumming by Rob, some nice rap verses from Mike (and great singing from him too!), plus very aggressive vocals from Chester and a fun solo to top it all off. I predict this being a fan favorite on the disc. It certainly is my favorite track so far (without hearing the 2nd half).

Some interesting stuff I read on my FB feed:

    THE SUMMONING
The first interlude on the album. With a non-spectacular appearance this track jumps into a nice drum beat. To give you an idea what it sounds like, listen to the beginning of When They Come For Me.

    WAR
This song is a really fast drum song with Chester on it. Even if there's no rapping or many special effects, it reminds me of a punk version of Blackout

    WASTELANDS
One of my favorite tracks on the album. On this catchy song -thanks to the melodic guitar and drums- Mike Shinoda definitely proves his rapping skills. Fans of their first two albums will LOVE this song. This song is probably going to be the next single of the album..

    REBELLION
One of the heaviest songs on the album. It's loud, it's fast and it will kick your fucking ass. This song will be the crowd catcher on live shows. Be prepared for the rebellion

The whole Chester screaming the chorus with no music behind him to kick it off is what has me sold. Chester is the reason I started listening to Linkin Park.
I may get slammed for this comment, but, I listen to ALOT of heavy music & when firing on all cylinders, his high's are close to-if not the best in the business.

Oh most definitely. The acapella screamed intro was a total shock for me. Brave start to an album. Very unorthodox.

Yeah. I ain't hoping for it this time with all the hype. I want it to release on the right dates so people are blown away.
But I am not gonna be sad if it does get leaked either, to be completely honest.
