The "fuck" isnt Part of the song, the guy recording it says fuck I can tell you it isnt bmth i know Ollis voice for 6 years if you listen closely it isnt a scream it is a very deep pig squeal and so it has to be a deathcore band and for everyone who thinks this sounds good, listen to In dying arms, Chelsea grin or idk, infant annihilator because that music clip what all of you seem to like is pure deathcore and it's a breakdown
Hey Derek, thanks for the previews! I wanted to ask a question about Rebellion. All the previews that talk about it say it's sounds like a System of a Down song. How true is this? I'm a fan of System of a Down but I was wondering if this song is just going to be a SOAD song with Chester's voice instead of Serj tankian's? While I don't really mind this I think I would like it to be more of Linkin Park's unique blend of styles. So my question: Is it a SOAD song with Chester's voice or a Linkin Park song or is it a wonderful blend of the two like I'm hoping?
Daron's guitar work is undeniably like his work on Toxicity but it sounds more like a Linkin Park song with SOAD riffs. It's not a mailed in rip off of SOAD. No worries .
Thanks for the reply Derek. That's great to hear! I'm looking forward to hearing that song quite a bit.
I have a question you may not even remember because it's such a minor detail. lol After watching the live version of Wastelands, do you remember of those "Oh!"s that Chester growls during the intro riff are present in the studio version? What about the screams he does during the bridge? The live version was so spectacular I'd love for the studio version to have that same energy.
Yeah and were it the same two screams during the bridge or was it one long scream? I guess it wasnt one long scream ._. But Ben, isnt the preview the whole first minute of the Song? I didnt hear anything from chazy there :/
The screams weren't in the bridge BUT the bridge felt heavier on the record...and you could hear that neat sliding guitar riff a lot better too.
