    :dafuq:

However, contributing already established songs is entirely different than writing entire new songs solely for a big blockbuster franchise. There's a difference, IMO.

    Yah, once.

"Ready Aim Fire" - Iron Man 3
"Who We Are" - Catching Fire
    "Battle Cry" - Transformers 4
    "Monster" - Infinity Blade III
    "Lost Cause" - Frankenweenie

Does Chester Doing that Queen Of The Damned song count? Or Mike doing the score for The Raid count too? I don't think it is a bad thing when a movie franchise reaches out to a band because they feel like they could add to the experience of the movie. They also might have a really good PR agent, and that is not a bad thing.

Working on a film score is one thing, contributing to so many soundtracks is a too obvious cash grab. Yes, artists need to make money, but to me, when your band is contributing to nearly EVERY big blockbuster, it just makes that artist lose artistic credibility in my eyes. It's like they sold their soul to the music industry.

Imagine Dragons write new songs for appearances in movies. It's a great way to boost popularity and keep the fans busy with new music. They don't release a ''new version'', they write a new song.

Seriously, what the hell is the problem?

All three of those albums were actually good, and made each individual song almost something completely new (though Collision Course is questionable), which made the release justified. What did Radioactive (feat. Kendrick Lamar) do? Add a rap verse. That's IT.

Reignwolf tonight was insane. Club size venue with about 100 people and the band brought their instruments off the stage and set up less than an inch from me. Truly epic night.
