Nothing more fun then to have your alarm clock wake you up, then you realized it's not yours. :sweating:

So I'm legitimately working out how to become a bit of a professional vagabond, spending months at a time seeing the world. Really inspired by this guy. That's the way to fucking live man.

That's one uncommon way of living that has a lot of appeal to me too, even though I probably only see the good sides of it. Some months ago, I worked for 2 weeks in french vineyards where I met some really chill people who had adopted to a certain degree this way of live. They were doing an Europa-trip, and when they were running out of money, they usually found some littles jobs there and there in order to earn money again and continue their travel after. They didn't even know where they would be heading next or when their travel would stop. It was pretty inspiring to talk with them.

When I share my thoughts about it with people and family, they always tell me that you have to be insane (in a bad way) to do this. Kind of frustrating, but wathever, I might eventually give this a try for a year or so after I'm done with my political studies.

I think people are just afraid. Their not willing to chance ordinary life for something more fulfilling. It's a train of thought that I dread falling into. So I find guys like Matt and the guys you're Talking about hugely inspirational.

^Well, there are also those who aren't interested by this way of live and I totally get that. One of my best friend just isn't a fan of travelling, he's like "Yeah buddy, but I've got my friends here, my family, my girlfriend, all I need to be happy. I don't see why I would be more happy in another place.". And that's fine, but it's when people judge those who choose to go a different path that it gets annoying. As you said, the fear about going outside your comfort zone certainly plays a role in that, yep.

Thanks for the link to the blog anyway! Sounds like something I'll enjoy reading sooner than later :)

That's a good point I don't often think about as I'm a bit of loner. I've got really close friends (really close) but I don't really get lonely. I get it though I guess.

Anyways that guy has a load of information on how to do it right. As far as money, places to stay, and gear to pack. :chuck:

Goint to the dentist to get a cavity filled... I'd rather stick my face in a bear trap.

Just put in for another writing position. Which would make Altwire, I'm doing reviews at Black Metal Sanctuary, and if I get this I would be working for themetalreview.com. Guess it's time to start taking this writing thing a little more seriously.

Fargo is one incredibly overrated movie.

The only thing I got from this movie was that people from Minnesota have funny accents.

This german teacher is simply amazing. I've advanced miles ahead than I thought I would in just 3 months. Basic structuring is steadily solidifying and provided I learn a bit more vocabulary I will be able to express simple thoughts in 3 different verbal times.

Of course, I'm still very limited in speech but then again, I've only been in the course for 3 months :crikey:

For some reason Imagine Dragons' songs for soundtracks are so much darker in tone and theme compared to Night Visions and their indie pop/pop rock early days.

Various studies have shown that classical music can help one concentrate, other studies imply that certain types of music, including but not limited to music associated with music and muscle memory have a similar affect.

I know. I need to check out the classical music theory as well! But I meant more generally. It's just making me want to play games xD

Have you ever listened to a song you don't know and you're pretty sure you hear Satan in the background the whole time?

I'm not a fan of "Dark Horse" but holy crap this guy makes it 10000000x better XD

I mean the way he moves from Slipknot to Boyz II Men is just effortless.

Man, I just love, and hate thought provoking songs. It just gets me all depressed and shit, especially with those dealing with the afterlife, or lack thereof. The thought that there is probably nothing after we're gone is just fucking scary.
