"A Light That Never Comes" is a Moombahton track; some might want to be more specific and call it "Moombahcore", but I don't care about that distinction. Dubstep tracks are much faster, generally in the range of 135-150 BPM, and use a syncopated halftime rhythm. "A Light That Never Comes" is built around a straight 4/4 pattern running at 115.
I hope that they go more dance with it than ALTNC which I think was to Linkin Parkified. It stuck to close to the old LP formula like the first half of Living Things. I hope that we get the song LP did with DJ Fresh someday to; I've always wanted a drum and bass song from LP.
This song is more than likely the TF4 song,I remember reading somewhere that Steve was working with Bay on the films music, more or less this is the track. If not then wow kinda ironic (Update on that I found the link) http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers...ormers-4-age-of-extinction-soundtrack-178873/
Fuck Steve Aoki, there are hundreds of better producers LP could work with, most overrated artist since Lil Wayne p.s. and fuck his laptop djing
I also found this: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers...ound-design-sneak-peek-by-celldweller-179393/ Celldweller is also working on T4, which is a dub step type of band that goes along with Steve Aoki being a part of the soundtrack. So, I'm guessing, if LP are involved, they will most likely do another collaboration with Steve in order to fit in with the theme, instead of doing a separate track alone.
ALTNC was fun, at least for me. I don't mind if they collaborate again, as long as it's a different direction. Is there a lot of diversity in what Steve Aoki puts out with others?
Don't get me wrong. I'm just more interested about the new LP-only songs than a collaboration song with Aoki. But I'm still intrigued. I find it amazing that LP is working on so many things at once. This year should probably be the biggest. I want to go "WTF was that" but I've seen worse. That mosh though.
