The day's finally here, as Jay Leno is gone and Jimmy Fallon takes over the reins of the late night institution. This thread is for anything related to the show, so feel free to post whatever you want about Fallon, The Roots, The Tonight Show itself, anything! It's at 11:35pm in America on NBC, but the first show will be at 12 midnight due to the Sochi Olympics.
I'm a Conan guy to the very end. But I thought Jimmy had a fantastic show yesterday. I'll give him time to settle in, though: The Tonight Show is a HUGE deal and I can see why it nerves a ton of people.
I like Fallon. Really awesome to have witnessed him climb up the ranks so quickly. He is indeed awkward and a little sloppy with his interviews, but that is what makes him an endearing entertainer to watch. Plus, he knows what works in his favor; his skits are hilarious.
I <3 JIMMY. Conan's good too, and I really like Stewart as well but Fallon is my favorite! I really liked the show he put on on last night and I think he'll do great as the new host of the Tonight Show. He's definitely better than Kimmel and Letterman IMO

I don't usually see his show that much so I can't really say if I like him or not. I'll check out videos in Youtube.

Speaking of the other half...Seth Meyers is ok as a host, but this part was just the best of the week. Patrick x Ian ftw
