    I'm trying to remember the name of this poem/story I read a few months ago... It's a conversation between I think God and the Devil, where each person tries to up the other one. So one person would say they have a slingshot, the other person says they have a knife, then the person says he has a sword, the other person says they have a gun and it keeps going. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

    So I'm excited as hell that I'm about to have +2 weeks of vacation starting friday, but the fact that I currently have $2 in my bank account and I haven't bought any Christmas presents for anyone at all really depresses me. This is usually my favorite time of the year and I don't feel like it is. It feels like I'm barely holding on...

    Today it was really cold around here. My sweater is being my best friend for now but in the office and in the language course classroom it's not gonna cut it.

    Facebook announced that they will have random video ads pop up on your newsfeed, but with audio muted, starting Thursday. Once that happens, I'll be laughing at all the people completely oblivious to the handy-dandy application known as Ad-Blocker.

    I don't get why people (not you guys in LPA) need to give flashy things in Christmas. It's a time for giving and appreciating friends. Heck, I gave my guy friends towels and my girl friends notepads. And if you don't have money, just like minuteforce said, the family is the best gift.

    In other news, what in the actual hell happened in the previous page? :lol:

    I just found out that a good friend who I used to work with had a massive heart attack on Saturday. I really hope he will be alright. He's only 32...
