There's only so many times you can make the same legitimate complaints after every episode. I was owning each episode and some people were getting their panties in a bunch. I mean, you could break down each episode and find 50 things that were horribly done. So after motivation runs out the easiest explanation is the writers suck. Nobody wants to discuss why this show is failing so hard, so basically "this show sucks LOL" is served to break up the stroke fest.
Stroke fest? There has hardly been a stroke fest. I see a bunch of people discussing the season, followed by you shitting all over the conversation with snarky remarks. Here's a summary of the posts you have made in this thread over the last few months: "I don't see the goal of this series. To keep trying to survive while surrounded by morons and zombies? There is no direction to this story." "That's why some people think shallow pieces of work are good. Like Transformers 2 and 3. Or The Walking Dead." "So how was the recent episode? Any reason to watch it? Does Maggie get naked? Does Carol develop superpowers and fly off into space?" "This show needs a laugh track. The governor character is hilariously bad." "The show is trolling intelligent viewers." "Can someone just nuke this entire world and start the spin-off already?" "I might watch it just so I can say how dumb it is." Not a single constructive post that promotes further discussion about the show. If this show is so terrible, and you hate it so much, then why keep posting variations of "this show sucks" over and over again instead of simply not bothering? We have had complaints about your trolling, which lead to my initial comments to you about your behaviour, which were received quite positively by other members in the thread. Take a hint. Legitimate complaints are fine but your drive-by trolling does absolutely nothing to add to the conversation. Last warning. Either become a productive contributor to the conversation or say nothing at all. You are ruining the experience for other members. I will not allow that to continue.
Spoiler for 4x07 and a future ep. This concerns the comic and TV show. Highlight below. Abraham, Eugene and Rosita are supposed to introduced in episode ten of this season. Also, this is the first episode since first half of season 2 that I don't know exactly what's going to happen. I know some things, not all though.
YES! That was fantastic! Compelling drama, no filler, no questionable character choices, amazing acting, and unforeseeable twists. That was great.
Just read a spoiler recap of the midseason finale. Damn, I didn't think it would go THAT far. This just made seasons 2 & 3 wimps.
Yep. Episode 9. . Daryl is a bad ass, isn't he? Daryl vs Tank and Daryl wins. Anyway, about that bus... And knowing that well, I'll just say 3 certain things (for the people who haven't watched it yet) were going to happen and actually seeing it WOW.
Great episode, but ffs the idiocy of The Governor continually bothers me to no end. Why would The Governor leave Megan alone with her mother? They mean the world to him, and he leaves them alone far removed from the cavalry?! Good job.
SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T WATCH THE EPISODE OR READ RECAPS I think that was deliberately made by the writers to show the Governor's inability to take care of his "family" and so Meghan (yes that's the correct spelling) died. That's why Lilly killed him, because 1) he broke his promise to take care of them and 2) I think she saw him kill Hershel. At least this whole prison/Governor arc is over.
Fucking amazing, so much like the comics. I'm just so glad they did, in the end, manage to wrap up the prison storyline this nicely. Success. I'm not bummed about Hershel dying the tiniest little bit
Was thinking a little bit more about the episode and something's not adding up for me. Once the firefight begins and Rick gets shot, he ducks behind the bus to avoid getting shot again. But when the Governor's group decides to break down the fence and go into the compound, nobody checks behind the bus for Rick? He's just allowed to surprise attack the Governor like that? And nobody else notices? Seems a bit like they wanted to have that final fight but didn't really care how it occurred.
They must've thought Rick already backed up to the prison compound. They didn't see him after he ducked behind the bus. Plus, they became focused on the people firing at them, e.g. Daryl, Carl, the Greenes, etc. Don't forget the Governor's army is pretty dumb at times too, even in the comics. Also, do you think Judith lived or died?
I think the youngest sister from the Governor's group who clearly saw through his bullshit and walked off in shock probably found Judith and picked her up. Or maybe it was Beth? She's still unaccounted for right? She's always looking after Judith. Also, I kind of wish they'd given the Governor's death to Beth or Maggie. Out of pure vengeance. I liked Hershel. He was like a wayyy less preachy and annoying Dale. I fucking hated Dale.
I guess the only thing I don't like is how split up everyone is in the end. Why didn't, at least, Michonne join Rick and Carl? Okay, in the comic, Rick and Carl are seperated from the others after the prison fight, and I like how it's the same in the show, but after Michonne kills the Governer and gives him one last look, why doesn't she join Rick in his search for Carl? Kinda weird. I think Judith's alive by the way.
Comic: They were split up at the end of Prison arc in the comics too, until they all met up at Hershel's farm. No comment on Judith.
Didn't remember that. The Alexandria storyline has been going on for a long time, the details from the previous "eras" kinda fade away. Although you still didn't answer why Michonne didn't just join Rick and Carl
Telltale released the first screenshot of Season Two in the video game. Look who's back... https://twitter.com/telltalegames/status/407343619834523649/photo/1/large - Frank Darabont's Mob City is premiering on TNT tomorrow, although I haven't seen a single positive review yet. We shall see how it goes.
I'd assume Michonne fo'd after Rick went back to look far Carl. 4B looks to mainly on-the-road stuff I doubt we'll be getting to the SPOILER WORD: Hunters yet. === And for anyone interested in starting the comic, the second compendium picks up right after the prison assault. So there's the semi-perfect starting point, besides the whole mess of things that are completely different in the comic, like Andrea and Dale being alive and Tyreese being dead and Daryl not existing.
Was gonna say the bolded might be taken as a spoiler, but then I thought, "Is it a spoiler?" I guess the lives of the characters are different enough in the comic that this shouldn't even be taken as something that might happen. I mean, of course it might, but probably not like it does in the comic.
