    I, too, am shocked at this news. I remember watching them on Storm Chasers on Discovery when the show was still on. Very sad.

    My cousin really enjoyed watching Storm Chasers and he was shocked at the news. So sad, really :(

    What gets me with this whole thing is that they were doing research and not doing it for the adrenaline rush. They were actively trying to improve people's lives. They put their lives on the line, in harms way, to collect data that could result in better structured buildings and greater warning times. That makes those three heroes in my eyes.

    Yeah, if they had been some adrenaline junkies we'd be talking about how stupid they were for going at it. I saw the show too, the excitement and feeling of accomplishment when they got HQ images or were able to put sensors in a tornado to analyze it's behaviour, speed and movement is something that must've meant the world to them, because it was something that could be used to prevent more fatalities and be able to alert people sooner. It's really unfortunate that something like this happened.

    Very true. Like I said before, Paul was an extraordinarily taleted photographer. I keep looking at his shots in amazement. He was very gifted.

    In the US there's gun debate about the firearms being in the hands of law abiding citizens.

    Here people can't even respect the traffic lights and the regime wants to give fire weapons to 2 million citizens to form a "working class militia". Way to go.
