I am really happy to know that you guys are here for me. Thank you really really much! I don't know what to say... I am just so sad... Well, thank you again!

She was depressed, NoN. She got bad marks at school, she was crossed in love, had a lot of trouble with her parents, thought she was fat and ugly (she was beautiful and definitely not fat) and had no really friends except me and another neighbour..

 

I understand that but it was just unexpected...
I think I am the one to blame. The last time I saw her was on Sunday. We were in my room sitting in my bed. Then she started to explain what she did to herself. She took a a deodorant and sprayed it above her chest until she got burns. After that, she scratched it so you could have seen her flesh. It was horrible. And that was just an example. She said she tried it already twice to kill herself but in the last moments the parents came back home... I sat on my bed and said nothing. I didn't say 'DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN!' or so. I said nothing. I should have told her mother or father. She probably would still be alive. I am the one to blame... and I don't know how to live with that fact...

 

Woah, woah, woah. You definitely should not be taking the blame for her suicide.

 

Holy shit melis, I'm so sorry. It is not your fault. I'm sure you helped more than anything beingnone of her few friends.

 

Sometimes when people you care pass away for unnatural reasons, you tend too feel like you had something to do with it... It's an almost natural reaction, but Melis it's ok, it's not your fault and you will get better soon.

And like Pidgey said, you helped her a lot, you even said it yourself, she would talk to you, you would listen... When people are down and depressed they want someone to listen to them, and you did just that.

 

Melis, as everybody's saying, you should not blame yourself for something she did, and she decided to do. It can't be undone. I know you're having a tough time, and it's good to mourn for someone close, but sometimes you need to accept the fact that she's gone. At least you were a friend to her. You were nice to her and she to you. That experience at your room was traumatic and unexpected and it was natural. You didn't cause her depression.

You're kind of worrying me because you're the one sounding depressed and suicidal. Keep your composure, but mourn if you need to. Then, remember the happy times you had together; the times when you laughed and had good times can help. At least you were a blessing to her, and she to you. People die, but we need to let go eventually.

 

Melis it's not your fault. This happens sometimes, when a person suicides, and his friend thinks it's his fault because he didn't spit a word. It happens, it's not your fault.

 

I am really happy about your words. I think I know now that I am NOT the one to blame. But I am just so sad about it. I'll go to a counselor on Monday. The funural is on Thursday. I hope my school (/my marks) won't suffer.
It's very good to see that friends are trying to help me now. Even you guys, who actually don't know me, are trying to help me. Thank you very much. Really...
