We don't have to be that specific, no, I was just clarifying. And there's really no problem with the thread title not having the album title in it, it doesn't matter. They call it Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams in interviews. Alright, as I say, I didn't even say the thread title should be changed. Maybe it's this way: when it's written, it's LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS, when it's spoken, it's Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, if it matters anyway. But the perfectionist I am, I have a knack in trying to figure this kind of stuff out.
It's spoken as "Living Things" outloud, but the album is named "LIVING THINGS". Similarliy it's spoken as "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams" outloud, but the album is named "LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS". Just wanted to clarify. Anyways, I'm excited as fuck for this album. I have high expectations for it.
Here's the iTunes UK Store web page for the album. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/love-lust-faith-+-dreams/id620510996
The album's shaping up quite well. Maybe a few too many ballads but sounding stronger than This Is War.
I get that; many of us here would say that they're the same, but not everyone will be on the same page with that so let it just be a matter of personal preference.
I'm glad I don't judge an album by its cover, that one's ugly as hell, looks like a twister carpet. For the sake of looking for some new stuff to listen to, I might give this one a try.
"The Race" sounds sick in the first like, 5-10 seconds. That said, the track doesn't sound too bad. I think it's the note Jared sings that makes it so awesome. "Pyres of Varanas" sounds sweet in general. Middle Eastern vibe coming off after the 'drop'. "Northern Lights" sounds like it could be huge. Loving what I hear in general.
Sure, Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams and Love Lust Faith + Dreams are two different variations of the title, but in the end, it's the same title. I'd much rather the more formal style than what the band wants us to write it as. It saves fucking up my precious iTunes library Back to the topic, "City of Angels" and "Do or Die" are my OH-MY-GOD-THIS-IS-AWESOME tracks at the moment, and I could've sworn I've heard "Depuis Le Début" somewhere... Oh I feel so stupid, and "Pyres of Varanasi" is obviously from the "Up in the Air" video.
I keep finding more an more songs. Ones from the concert in Chicago called City of Angels, the other is a mystery song from 2011 that might be on the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5I2hUrCV4G0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu7wAD_pMJM
It won't let me but I found a different website where I can listen to 2:00 previews. Thanks anyways..
