Hey guys, I apologise if this question is overly asked about, I couldn't exactly find anything regarding the topic anywhere after some searching. Also, I hope this isn't the wrong place to post it. I finally have enough money to afford a copy of Hybrid Theory, but only as an mp3 I think. Well, I'd like to get it as an mp3 first before I get it on CD/Vinyl. Anyway, does anybody here know where I can purchase an mp3 version of the album in full 320kbp/s format, rather than a 128 bit rate or lower. I'm not sure if you even can, but it'd be awesome if someone could help out. Thanks a lot in advanced.
The only place I would think to look is at linkinpark.com, Itunes or Amazon... You might also be able to score the CD very cheaply at Ebay or at a resale shop.
I was actually looking at that, but I don't think it mentions the bit rate anywhere, unless I've missed it. I'll probably get that one but I'm a bit hesitant about the bit rate. Thanks a lot for the replies so far though guys.
If you buy the CD, you can rip it to 320kbps. The digital copy of the album is 256 kbps from Amazon*.
I actually had no idea you could rip a CD to 320 kbp/s, of course I knew you could rip it, but not at that quality(and I think from reading up on it you can rip to lossless as well). In that case I'll just go down to JB HI-FI and pick up the CD. Cheers heaps guys, I appreciate it.
