If they stayed closer to the comic thered be less dafuq moments, but I doubt theyd be able to pull off the real Governor vs. Michonne struggle for TV. Theres no way Andrea is capable of fullfilling that role since shes the captive. Unless its convienient for the writers.
That was NOT satisfying. What the fuck was that? The awful, boring, annoying Governor is STILL not dead, Andrea's death wasn't anything too emotionally gripping since her entire character was raped and destroyed throughout the season. And why on Earth would they bring all those people to the prison when Woodbury is a much better and safer and healthier place to live???
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. AMC you shit heads, Mazzara wanted to make it darker and you completely shited on him so fuck you. And Scott Gimple rewrote this episode so fuck him too.
Shitty finale was shitty. Which is a damn shame as this time around, the show had everything going for it that would've made for an intense season. I can't be bothered to figure out whether or not the writers behind 'Season One' are responsible for the debacle that has been 'Season Three', but I refuse to believe that they are one and the same.
So much for closure. SPOILER ALERT: This show has been pissing me off all season, and just when you think it's about to redeem itself it shits all over itself. I can't remember the last time I was more unsatisfied with a finale. Yeah, let's bring all the women and children back to the half-destroyed prison where supplies are already limited. And Glenn/Maggie, why don't you spray bullets all over a parking lot with dozens of people running across it and not hit a fucking soul? What they should have done was have that survivor girl that Rick/Darryl/Michonne found get lit up by the Governor when she was telling Tyreese/Sasha about what the Governor did. Firefight ensues and the Governor dies somehow, but not before significantly wounding one of Rick/Darryl/Michonne. Cliffhanger, holy shit, end credits. But no, let's spend half a season setting up a final showdown between Rick and the Governor for the fates of their people, and have them not even catch a glimpse of each other the entire finale! What the fuck, AMC!?
I didn't watch last week's episode until tonight. Watching it and then the finale back to back made it even more apparent how thin the story is. All in all, they were just about as dumb as I expected them to be. Unless something drastic changes next season, I imagine I'll keep bashing it repeatedly. I could write a couple pages worth of stupid things about the last two episodes, but I'm getting tired of doing that. I might just post a link of someone else doing that later.
At least there's the final assault in the comic. Looks like that'll be goin' down next season. At least now they can fuck up all the interesting prison stuff they skipped over. Andrea dead is a surprise, but I did not care about her death.. at all.
There were a couple of interesting moments, but as Kevin said above, it felt very non-climatic. Even though I'm not a huge Andrea fan, I felt a little bad.
Pretty lol that she got bitten even after she broke free. No way anyone smart (or with any basic human instincts) would have been bitten there.
