When people say b-sides for the album, we really only have 3. No Roads Left, Across The Line and What We Don't Know. NRL obviously because it came with the album the day it came out as a pre-order bonus, and the other 2 because they actually said 2007 demo after them in the description. Brad later clarified that What We Don't Know was not worked on after MTM was released in the LPU newsletter. The other tracks are all just demos that never made the FINAL mix. Even more finished demos for MTM like Debris, Blackbirds, Pretend To Be, Qwerty, Not Alone, etc are all just demos that probably never even made it to 2007, and some of those were picked up again in mid to late 2008 and worked on for a bit again. They aren't by any means MTM b-sides.

I'm a 100% sure Blackbirds was a final cut demo that got axed. If they did the strings for it it means it was ready.
So you don't think LP changed it or tweaked it for 8BR? You think it was the same version they intended for MTM?
Not kissing LP's ass but Minutes To Midnight is a masterpiece already, it's an insult that more people don't realise what a classic album it is.
