What's the difference between a phone with and without Beats? Does it actually sound different/better, or is it just for the hell of putting a name on a phone?

My phone gives me the option to turn Beats audio on or off when listening to music. It definitely sounds better and much clearer with Beats audio on.

The DNA is probably the best current Android phone. With its high pixel density screen and solid construction.

But here's some details you need to understand. Specs are important but do not necessarily detail the best phone. The high pixel density is great but after a point, the density no longer matters and is actually detrimental to your battery life. In the case of Beats Audio compatibility, it's nothing special. It's just pre-set EQs for the phone and Beats products (which are overrated).

If you need a phone now, then choose the DNA for Android products. But the GS4 is coming out soon so I'd wait if Android is your choice.

Yeah, GS4 will be good. GS3 is amazing, so I suggest you wait for the 4.

Yeah, that's most Android phones. Another reason why I love Apple

I agree the Apple iPhone 5 has better battery life. Doesn't make me like Apple as a company though but I don't want to start a debate so I'm just going to leave it at that.

So... Does anyone have a Windows Phone? They look pretty cool, but I've never had one. I'd like to hear some opinions from people who have them or used to have them.

They're really good but the platform isn't supported as much as the other phones. Basically less games, less music and less support from big companies. But they're pretty powerful phones that run them.

Windows phones are on the upshift. There aren't a lot of Windows phones out yet but there are definitely a few very good ones. The HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia are both very good phones.

Software wise, the Windows phone is basically Windows 8. The software will require learning but it shouldn't be too difficult. There's live tiles so that'l be fantastic for keeping up to date with social tiles and whatever other live updates. There are not as many apps as Apple and Android but that isn't a huge deal for me.

I think overall, Windows phones have potential but it will require the market to find interest which is difficult considering the giant duopolies of Apple and Android.

Exactly what you two said. I very much doubt it will ever take off as big as Android or Apple, which is sad as the OS is pretty excellent. I was very close to getting the Nokia Lumia, by the way. Really good overall phone.

We're both talking about the Nokia Lumia 900, right? It's bigger than the iPhone 5, but not by much.

Yeah, sorta. I'm talking about the move for Nokia from the Lumia 900 to the 920. The 900 for me was the perfect size and it was beautiful. The new top of the line that they're promoting a lot is the 920 which is just a brick.

    Just look at this:

"IMMA SMACK IT, WITH THIS PIECE OF WOOD" That made me crack up lol.

I see what you're saying. I hadn't even realized there was a newer phone in that line than the 900.
