Jesse, I'm sorry, but you seriously need to stop doing that. I introduced Letterboxd directly to the people who visit this thread regularly whereas you seem to dislike Letterboxd and believe your "own" is better.

Once I did introduce Letterboxd, Ree said I could make my own thread, and I honestly went to do so until I saw that you'd already made a thread but for your alternative, and not wanting to "compete" with you I decided I wouldn't make a thread.

Sorry, I'll stop. Though, I find it not very harmful to offer alternatives to a service that I think is lacking. It's quite similar to how you suggested superdude use letterboxd when he already has something that works for him. Also it wouldn't have offend me if you made a separate thread or anything, we are both allowed our opinions, but I admit I may have been too forceful with mine.

Anyway, I hope there's no hard feelings.

Eh, maybe. I got the blog already all set up and everything though. And I don't only do movies on there so I'm sorta skeptical about starting from scratch.

It definitely isn't, and I've probably been a little forceful myself but I've been really eager to connect with more people from the LPA.

I was thinking in more a parallel sense, rather than an alternative.

Hmm...maybe. I will take a look around and see what I can do with it.

and by "boner" you mean that it was really bad or that there were some hot chicks in it?

I liked it a lot. I'd give it a 7.5/10. Anna Kendrick is amazing. Such a good voice and so hot.

The Hobbit - 8/10. Not in the same league as the LOTR trilogy. Bad pacing, beautiful movie. It also felt comical in a lot of the action scenes. Even for a fantasy some action scenes were so extraordinary and improbable/impossible that it made me kind of shake my head. It made it seem more like a kids movie.

Sinister - 5/10. First quarter of the movie made me feel like it was going to be a legit horror movie. Alas, tons of cheap jump scares and corny storytelling flew in from every angle to finish off the movie. Good movie to watch with your loved one, though. Was pretty damn scary.

    THE HOBBIT: 9/10

I had the chance to see it in 3D and I really enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of LOTR and no, I'm not disappointed with The Hobbit. As usual, the cinematography still epic although yeah, I admit it lacked a little bit of action but hey, there's still Part 2.

    It's based on a children's book though.

Django Unchained - 10/10. Maybe my favorite Tarantino movie. So many to choose from though. Probably his best writing. Definitely his funniest I thought. All the actors owned it.

The Possession - 4/10. Really bad. Can't find anymore good horror movies to save my life. I think I've seen them all.
