I'm also hoping for an ATS interlude demo. It'd be cool if LP made a interlude to connect the catalyst and the messenger , like An electronic track that got progressively more acoustic. I doubt they did, but it'd be cool to have.

Now that I think about it, Wake was always going to be the album intro, and I always counted it in the 12 song pool, and then came the other 4 demos we know (NRL, ATL, Blackbirds and WWDK), what if there are actually 2 other songs left in the 17 song pool? I never really thought about it until now.
Well they count instrumentals as full tracks so in that case you named 16. People say that Grecian was the 17th but i'm almost positive it was never finished, therefore we have 1 unknown track left.
I know there's one definitely left but what I mean is that I don't think there was any debate as to whether Wake would be the album intro so the discussion regarding the songs that would be cut was about 17 other full songs, complete with vocals.
So Far Away (from me) are lyrics from Carousel, for all we know, we could have a Carousel Demo on our hands. But then again, we won't know until it comes out. Considering its been 5 years since MTM, the extra two tracks could be the two very exclusive tracks from that release period, those being NRL & LOATR (M. Shinoda remix). I would've actually hoped for those two tracks to be on the COG single, LP crosses Genres, why not albums? LPU12, here we come!
And "I'll Be Gone" are lyrics in When They Come For Me. That doesn't mean I'll Be Gone is a WTCFM demo... Not to mention the fact that demo titles aren't listed in the BMI stuff, and I'm 99% sure Carousel is in there.
The 17th MTM song is most likely the original version of Not Alone, Mike said that they scrapped the original version of it because the lyrics were to similar to LOATR so it was probably almost finished when it got scrapped.
Source? As far as I know Not Alone was completed in 2010. Mike said it was an old demo from the MTM sessions that they finished up for DTD but nothing else.
It was a demo with lyrics on it. They specifically stated in LPTV that they liked the new lyrics better
Very true, just looked and saw that Carousel was listed in the BMI database. We can't just judge what era the songs will be from just from their titles, we'll just have to wait and see
