I'm surprised no one has made a thread for him yet as every other site I've been on is buzzing about him. Anyway, he is a rapper from Compton who has gotten some serious internet buzz that is translating into real success due to a few mixtapes and the excellent Itunes exclusive album, Section .80. He's already my 2nd favorite rapper behind Eminem and his true debut album hasn't even come out yet! His album good kid, m.A.A.d city comes out next monday, the 22nd. I'm just wondering if anyone else here listens to him and if you don't, and love rap, check him out because he's the next big thing. I've never really taken the time to take a good listen to his music, but everything I've heard until now I've liked.
Kendrick Lamar is amazing but GKMC was only decent. Dudes awesome I was able to get on a mixtape hosted by him. He'll blow up like crazy in the next year guaranteed.
I like him a lot cause he's socially conscious etc. but doesn't let that take away from his tracks like a lot of those guys do nowadays. Production on GKMC is real dope. 2 many niggaz and not enough hoz, and summa deez niggaz is actin like hoooz
