So. Epic. It almost looks like an indie movie. Great great teaser. Another one is supposed to come out too... I'll embed it when it drops.
Yeah, Superman has never really been my thing, and to be honest, I never really cared for the original film series, Smallville, or Superman Returns, but this adaptation looks incredibly promising.
Wow. It looks like they might have the most boring superhero ever actually be interesting. I just looked and saw that Nolan and Goyer wrote the story, so no surprise that Superman will have depth for once. Could be on par with the Dark Knight series since they have the same writers.
Looks like a lame, forced attempt at a gritty take on a character who at his core is the least gritty thing ever. If there were someone other than that hack Snyder in the director's chair I would probably give it the benefit of the doubt - after all, even Mark Millar had a really good Superman story in him with Red Son, but next to Snyder he's William Faulkner.
Agreed. Watchmen looked promising in the trailers, but Snyder managed to turn that into a boring, disjointed, slow-motion extravaganza.
I'm really excited for this. As long as they don't try too hard to make it as dark as Batman I think it'll be very well made.
This is not 300 nor Sucker Punch. Nolan is producing. He came up with the story with David Goyer. And Jonah Nolan (his brother) wrote the script. Lotta good people are behind this. And Synder has some very interesting visual chops which I think would work great for Superman.
Saw this trailer earlier today, already looks better than all previous Superman efforts combined. Plus, Nolan at the helm and Hans Zimmer doing the soundtrack? Nothing can possibly go wrong
This teaser was attached to The Dark Knight Rises over here, so that was cool to see on the big screen before it hit the internet.
Looks like it could be good but; Nolan isn't at the helm. He's producing and maybe has a story credit. Zach Snyder is at the helm & it's written by David Goyer who doesn't have a great track record outside working with the Nolans (Ghost Rider:SOV, Blade Trinity, Nick Fury: Agent of Shield, Jumper, The Crow City of Angels). Snyder doesn't have a great record either. Hopefully they pull something good/great out of the bag, but I'll keep my expectations fairly low.
Gorgeous trailer. it doesn't look like a Snyder film at all! (and I love most of his films) looks almost as if Ridley Scott or Terrance Malick directed this. Hopefully it'll be the reboot Superman deserves and needs. Also getting Snyder back in the spotlight once again (I really didn't get the hate behind Sucker Punch, It wasn't bad at all IMO) Apparently it'll be his most realistic film to date, and for Zach, thats saying A LOT
Man of Steel is my most awaited film of 2013, probably because of Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan, just like The Dark Knight was my most awaited of 2012. Can't wait to watch this film, looks great.
Superman is one of the worst superheroes of all-time. That said, the teaser trailer looked interesting enough. I'll check this out, for sure. I'm betting I won't like it, though. I think Zack Snyder is a hack and I've not liked a single one of his movies, not even for a second.
