We're actually just going to list the album in this post. If we start doing chart updates like Mark used to do years ago, we may include the other stuff. Thanks for the update though! Keep these countries coming people!
Congratulations to the band and all the fanbase around the world just like britney said a few years ago: oooppsss we did it again!!!!!!!! BTW here“s my little contribution
#1 in Us! Yes, take that M5! Your album sucks and you know it Edit: Offspring at #12 and Sleeping With Siens #30. Good job
Indeed. The reason I stopped was because 1) at the time, there was nothing LP-related on the charts, 2) radio has become such an afterthought today, 3) the threads would get a couple of "cool"'s and "awesome!"'s and that'd be it. For album debuts like this it's newsworthy but I don't think many people care how Burn It Down is doing in its 15th week on the Modern Rock chart. And if they are, they could always just go to Billboard.com. Heh.
Not yet. ATS current tally is around 600-800k in the US (which is average for big albums today). Very few albums go platinum today. If this album passes a million then it's definitely a true success.
Keith Urban during it's six week beat M5 in it's first week in Australia. Please don't tell me Australia likes country music.... Oh well, down with M5 anyways
Amazing news, now the goal is the album to keep consistent for a least a couple more weeks, it was amazing to read on Billboard that LP was ready to take the top spot over Overexposed.. I have to say I hadn't expected a debut like this, despite how much I like the band and how much I was looking forward to this album, hope the sales continue rising, keep the news and numbers coming!
Oh if they could reach Diamond like Hybrid Theory and make this the best selling album of the decade... I can dream.
The fact that LP lost to Bieber in his second week in a lot of foreign countries (I live in US) makes me sad, but the fact that in those same countries Bieber beat M5, and so did LP makes me happy
