Apparently, Mike mentioned in an interview recently that a "Best Of" album is in the works?

Because the interview is translated, maybe it's possible that Mike was referring to Living Things? His whole "we're using all the tools in the toolbox, it's a mix of everything we've done" speech could have been lost in translation.

But if it IS true, that's interesting. A quick follow up with Living Things, a Best Of album, and supposedly an original movie score for Joe Hahn's film. Is LP trying to get out of Warner's hands as soon as possible?

DJ Fresh wants to do a song with Linkin Park.

 

I hope they can work something out though. I've never heard of this guy but any new music is ok in my book.

The latest Machine Shop Marketing e-mail newsletter refers to Lies Greed Misery as the "new single" from Living Things. Not sure if you want to take that as gospel, but it does come from an official source.

Brad talks about how they will play "some songs" of the new album, but I think he would be refering to BID and LGM like it's been all along, or include TINFOIL at best.

Nothing new really but a bit of a heads up to the show on sunday.

Nice post.. But i noticed it says, "Linkin Park's sixth studio album.."

 

Reanimation counts as a studio album.

EDIT: Also, still calling bullshit on the "official" Linkin Park Philippines deluxe edition. You know, because a blogspot page hocking their t-shirts and posters at this "official" release party is totally legit.

 

I'll be watching a lot of the Euro2012 games and I'll let you know if I see LP anywhere.

 

That LP Philippines guy on Facebook also doesn't believe there's a deluxe edition.
