look what the golden mixtape said about "Until It Breaks" :

As “UNTIL IT BREAKS” started, I thought how fitting we’re remembering 20 years since the LA Riots this week. This song reminded me of a time where rap was about something and not so called “bling bling.” The construction of the song made it sound as if it were escaping from a police radio at times. The 90′s feel is definitely something to highlight and celebrate on this portion of LIVING THINGS. Let’s hope more of that’s on the rest of the recor

in the Myspace Review , the song described as one of the most soft tracks.
so how rap exactly fits in? like HHH style maby?

What I want them to do is to release Victimized as a single. We haven't had a hard song as a single since Minutes to Midnight. Also, it'd be sure that the old fans will hear it.

IMO I think Powerless could be in the same vane as TLTGYA, but much more electronic sounding.

Your comment reminded me of something. I'm not saying that the styles are equal, but some elements are similar:

    Hybrid Theory

    6. Runaway
    7. By Myself

    Meteora

    6. Easier To Run
    7. Faint

    LIVING THINGS

    6. CASTLE OF GLASS
    7. VICTIMIZED

    An "accidental coincidence"?

I hope it makes it... But LGM also sounds like a possible candidate, I don't see LP releasing only heavier songs as singles (excl. BID), they will go with soft songs as well I think. But I would definitely be on it, it would SMASH the charts.

Let's save that. It may be useful in to the Scavenger's Hunt.

    Hmm. Good point!

I think they just made a conscious effort to make an album that was high octane type stuff, and it was natural to break it up a little at certain points. If it was heavy song after heavy song and then it ended with 4 soft songs, that'd be a let down.

Well that's what happened with Minutes to Midnight. (Only it wasn't a heavy song after heavy song.)

Which is why MTM to me was 'ehh' as a whole, though I respect what they did on the album. Very sleepy but I know many love it.

Yea but the "structure" on MTM was not very good. Too many hills and valleys instead of a smooth ride.

"The love you lost wasn't worth the cost and in time you'll be glad it's gone"

Damn son. Really excited for that track.
