For those who don't know, Ethan is their recording engineer. He works in the studio with them.

I think we have to do some Screen Shoots on the Video and see the other ideas, what do you think ?

Some guy was spamming it in a couple threads a while back. It was really only his theory.

This album cover is definitely my favorite the band has had so far.

I really want the instrumental that we are hearing to not be Tinfoil and be one of the ballads

    I hear "warble, warble, warble"...

    Awesome track!

...in all seriousness. From the real shittiness of that rip I can't make out much, but what little I can hear, it's great :).

I wonder if it's really a harp playing those triplets. It sounds like one. That part is really all you can make out in this rip but it sounds great.

Yeah I thought I heard a harp too. Would be great if it was a real harp and not a digital recreation.

Honestly, being in a band, most choices are "we like this one best". lol At the beginning of the process there is usually more metaphors and meaning behind something but at the tail end of all the creation it's "picture four is best", "that 2nd mix is better" because I'd be willing to bet all of those photos really represent what they want to show in Living Things.

"Everything culminates on the cinematic closer "POWERLESS". It has the heft of a JOHN WILLIAMS score and the power of any of Linkin Park's best output."

I didn't notice Phoenix eating burger, I lost focus watching the video when i hear a new song at 1:16. first thing came to my mind was Tinfoil.

That's what I was thinking. I expect this to be tinfoil leading into powerless or something. The soundcloud clip posted above seems a bit garbled but from what I can hear, it sounds kind of hauntingly beautiful. It's what I expect the soundtrack for a dream to be.

It would have been cool to see what may have been developed if iTunes hadn't pushed them to get them the details so quickly.
