    Sadly, Waiting for the End stayed at #2, behind a Black Keys song if I remember correctly.

    Linkin Park hits #1 On Rock Singles Chart with Burn it Down

    Linkin Park has scored its first Rock Singles #1 since 2010. Billboard reports that the band's "Burn It Down" from their coming album Living Things hit the top spot on the chart; their last #1 was "The Catalyst" which spent five weeks at the top. Check out the genre chart #1s below:

    You remember incorrectly. Waiting for the End replaced the Black Keys song on the Alternative Songs billboard after 15 weeks on the charts.

    Yeah it reached #1 on the alternative charts but only ever made it to #2 on the rock charts.

    Sorry Gman, but this guy is correct. "BID" is only their third #1 hit in Rock Songs (the others being Catalyst and New Divide), with the chart still considerably new.
