Adam - will we be able to find the clue tomorrow in the event nobody goes today?

    :adam:

11.54, You definitely made progress. We now know it's an envelope and that it has to be physically picked up. We also know that calling the zoo will not help AT ALL.

    Love you too, Snookums.

Sorry I have a job that I have to be at so I can pay my mortgage and keep food on the table.

    "We" have problems?

I can assure you that there are.

    I would if I could.

As I said before, there are fans here, however most of them have a job and cannot just on a whim go to the zoo on a random day in the middle of May.

I was there too. To doubt my dedication to the band is utterly ridiculous.

It also costs the most to live here. #highestgaspricesandtaxesinthecountry

    Working.

If this was next week, I would have taken today off to get it.

    No updates... Sucks. :(

    That's very mature of you.

See any of the above. It may apply to the reply that's supposed to go here.

What they didn't tell you was _why_ they couldn't open the envelope, though, which is the most important part of the puzzle.

Knowing how secretive these clues are, Adam and the team at LPHQ needed some way to ensure that their clues didn't leak early. It was a tough task - if any employee was curious enough or an LP fan, the hunt could be ruined! So the team had to come up with a plan. For weeks they pored over schematics of the common envelope, looking for some exploitable weakness they had to fix, and one day, in a flash of brilliance, Adam found it.

    The envelope can be opened.

Knowing their problem, Adam and the team quickly set about trying to solve it, bringing in notable physicist Mildred S. Dresselhaus to help them. Weeks went by, the deadline of the start of the Scavenger Hunt quickly approaching, and the team was at a standstill. How could they keep people from opening the envelope, but still let them receive their next clue? It wasn't until Stephen Hawking, in a conference call with Dr. Sheldon Cooper, called the LPHQ that we would get our answer.

Having heard about the dilemma that LPHQ's Scavenger Hunt Planning Division was going through, Stephen Hawking enlisted his good friend Dr. Cooper to help. Together they analyzed the puzzle facing them and came up with a few theoretical prototypes, including one that relied on using an odd amount of gluons arranged in the envelope's flap in such a way that it spelled out "Linkin Park Fans Only". On the evening of May 3, the two left their whiteboards early to head down to the local cinema and see the midnight premiere of The Avengers, in stunning IMAX 3D. During the preview for "Battleship: the Game: the Movie", Stephen Hawking had a revelation. Standing slowly with his eyes transfixed on the screen, as if in a daze, he said "We make the envelope... explode!"

After the Avengers movie let out, Cooper and Hawking (alphabetical order, of course) hurried back to their whiteboards to work out the math. "It's perfect," Hawking was heard to have said.

    "I know," Dr. Cooper replied.

Adam and the LPHQ SHPD were ecstatic. It was perfect! They designed the interior of the envelopes to be laced with a thin layer of Unobtainium, which reacts with oxygen in such a way that it explodes in a way not unlike Michael Bay's definition of "good cinema" when exposed for more than an hour. Hurriedly, the envelopes were stuffed, sealed, and sent out to their locations.

    ----

So you see, 11:54, that's why they couldn't open the envelope for you. It's for their own safety.

I understood your point Hybrid. Sorry, anyway. You don't know anyone that can go there and take the clue? I do not think this will take more than a few minutes.

EDIT: You just answered above, ok.

Adam has already said we can go tomorrow if no one can go today. Also, since no one's opened the envelope yet, it won't explode.
