    Personally I'm happy with 35-40min record. More time to listen to it over and over again. 40min would be ideal though, going by the 36/12=3 math.

    Pink Floyds The Wall album is 81 minutes long, and its one of the most legendary albums of all time. This album is a absolute masterpiece. Anyways just goes to show you length and quality can indeed coexist on the same CD.

    EDIT: Stretching the Mastodon reference further... Crack The Skye clocks in over 50 minutes, but it's seven tracks long.

    It's not the length of the album or the amount of tracks, it's the quality of the music. If it's good, go enjoy it. If it sucks, flame it on the interwebs.

    Yeah, I was hoping for the album to be 40-42 minutes long ... but, whatever. It should be alright.
