It was not confirmed before it was on the site just wasn't it was posted 5 days before confirmation and 4 days after it was psoted on the LPA Mike posted the #livingThings on twitter fact.

I mentioned NME and the conversation they had with Mike which never says when LP came up with the title or how long they had it. Considering we didn't know any album title for the months the band had kept informing the press they had an album coming up for 2012 but never a title.

 

That would be great, my curiosity with TINFOIL kills me, I can't imagine lyrics on that but it's not an indicator since they can have songs like QWERTY or Figure.09 which kept their working titles.

 

Also Robot Boy, Faint, Papercut and The Catalyst.

 

I'm sure the band is aware of the divide in fans since MTM was released and LP could have used the collective hate to pick LIVING THINGS as a title just to prove a point, even if we dont like the title if we get the album and love it then we cant judge the music by the title like how on FRAT PARTY the band says LINKIN PARK was partly chosen to not be a csae where the band name defined the music but the oposite.

 

I dont care what the album is called either Derek I love the band been with them since the beginning but what I do care about is if fans or a fan actually determined the album title becasue that would be awesome seeing how much LP's fans mean to them.

Well, they (we) didn't. And it doesn't require fans naming an album for them to show how much we mean to them, they do stuff like these for us anyway, involving us in pre-album hype cycles, giving the privilege of guaranteed M&G's to the LPUers, take time from their schedules to assist to summits and meet the fans, apart from actually keeping making the music which brought us together as fans. isn't that enough?

 

You don't know that "they didn't" and I never said they didn't do anything or did not care I know they do and I dont ask anything of the band but it would be cool if we did influence it and for all we know we very well could have.

 

And on another note lots of listeners care about the whole package that The Beatles started back with Sgt. Pepper ex:THE ART OF METEORA and ATS was very based in art because like all of LP's album Mike cares about art and keeps it distinctive and ever changing with each release. Most people I would say care about the art and overall package as they should an album should represent something what that is shouldn't matter but basically all great albums and all of LP's albums for represent something specific and cohesive.

 

I can't wait anymore.

 

Everytime I read one of these articles I have a mental image of what to expect. And then I read another article and all my expectations are shattered. I don't know what to expect come the 22nd of June.

And I love that.

 

I really hope that this album brings back all the old school fans and new fans together and everyone will love this album. So the civil war can come to an end between LP fans.
