Even without a video, it debuted high on the Us Rock Charst at place 2. (Not as high as the catalyst though) And it debuted at place 6 on the Hot modern Rock charts. (Maybe it's going to be the 11 number one song) And also it debuted at number 1 on the UK rock charts. Not sure if you guys are interessted, but I wanted to post that.
Linkin Park: The group's "Burn It Down" storms Rock Songs at No. 2 (12 million first-week audience impressions on 119 stations), Rock Digital Songs at No. 4 (115,000 downloads sold) and the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 30. The song previews the band's fifth studio album, "Living Things," due June 26. http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/indu...-adele-s-rumour-rises-linkin-1006897152.story Would have bought the song on iTunes had I not pre-ordered the album lol Also ran across that BURN IT DOWN was #1 on BBC radio http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/rocksingles not sure if that matters but made me smile
That's some really good news, I don't listen to the radio much while I'm at school, but if it's getting some air time, maybe more people will know about the record come June.
It's getting severe airplay locally here. I heard it on the way home from work (blared that yo!) and I've had at least 10 people at work say "hey I heard the new LP song". So yeah, this song is a hit I'd say.
People at work who I don't even expect to listen to LP have been telling me they heard the new LP song on the radio.
debuting at 26 without heavy support from Simon Cowell/Syco in the UK is becoming damn near impossible, especially when the KISS100 playlist seems to decide the charts so thats actually very impressive Welldone!
