Seriously off topic hear, but with no new news on the latest LP on LPA what do you expect? What is everyones single favorite LP song ever? Mine changes a lot but it's usually Nobody's Listening. Right now it's been "The Catalyst" decided about a month after ATS launched and choosen with careful deliberation.

In the end without a doubt, that song never gets old and everything in that song is true, it brings back lots of memories, and even tho in the end is prob the most overrated LP song
its still my fave i will listen to it till the day i die.

I can never pick just one. Right now it's a toss up between The Catalyst, Robot Boy (lol, minority opinion here), Blackout, and The Little Things Give You Away.

I just re-read that and i'm honestly shocked I didn't mention anything from HT. I guess these are my favorites at the moment because they break the mold of your typical LP sound and/or formula.

I'm seriously an idiot. I just understood the face palm picture. For this entire thread I thought it was a hand holding a potato.

When picking a song I usually try to find something that encompasses all of their music, with enough singing, rapping, drums, guitar, disc scratcing, keyboard, and electronic stuff all in one, so right now it's either Papercut, Faint, or Points of Authority, but I'd probably choose Papercut.

And I believe there is a thread on this, that Bliss pointed out, though it is understanable as there hasn't been any news for a few days.

And that is an incredibly unique, wonderful song!

I like the song, not my favorite from ATS but I think that from the middle onwards is FUCKING FANTASTIC, can I still be in?

Makes perfect sense to me. The beauty of "Papercut" is it's very metaphorical. The first bolded line is an example of that.

Yes, you can join! All who recognize the greatness of any part of Robot Boy are welcome :awesome:

My personal favorite part is the crescendo of synth. So good.

The sun goes down part is very depressing and anyone notice after Chester sings the sun goes down he screams
"WHY" most of the time when they play papercut live

"The sun goes down, I feel the light betray me"

Sounds so cliche, but very powerful lyrics IMO.

Robot Boy is one of the better tracks on ATS I have to say.
