BURN IT DOWN Puzzle - Ongoing Progress (Full Puzzle Complete)

I've tried a regex dictionary search for ^th.n..$ and ^th.n.$

Pretty much the only words that fit are Things, Thanks, Thenar (word meaning palm of the hand), and Thence.

For The N__

You got pretty much The Now, The Net, The New, The Not, The Nil, The Nim, The Nth, the Nut, The Nix, and several other ones that don't make sense, or aren't as poetic as these.

 

i found this when looking around tumblr tonight. is this a new video? might be old but ive never seen it. looks cool and official. i dont know whose tumblr that is though.

No because I didn't allow for prefixes or suffixes. There's no space for an A before the TH.

sthenia, ethanol, and sthenic are now also valid. Athena only works if it's "Athenas" or plural or something, or #16 really is zero.

 

I don't see 20015 happening. An M? Doesn't seem to fit the pattern.

If anything, I do see this probably becoming LIVING THINGS but rather as another hint instead of being the 'solution' for something.

Or it could be an anagram. But at that point it becomes anyone's guess.

We really, unless someone comes in with a HUGE breakthrough from left field, have nothing to do but wait until the next puzzle. At least, that's the way I see it.

I messed up. Per me edit:

If #16 is zero, that opens up Athena, ethene, ethyne, and ethane.

Also, sthenia means to have vitality or vigor.

 

Ooooh ok so I'm not insane yet. =D

That is interesting because if there is no spaces allowed in this puzzle, pretty much it boils down to Athena(/0), some chemical gas, Sthenia, or Ethanol? lolololol.

If there IS a space, then it would be interesting if that piece revealed it to be a zero, because then we will have random spaces in words..... and that might be a clue to the puzzle.

 

I paused the video fast enough to see that the words that flash at the beginning are "SKIN TO BONE"

 

Did anyone try and freeze frame and get a screen grab of the Lyric Sheet Chester is holding. I've got my contact Lenses in so my sight at the moment is not the best - can you pick out the song title at all? Not sure if its posted to be a hint or not.

 

Yup I know M doesn't make sense, which is why I am not sure. But if my theories are correct, it can't be 20011 as 11 has already been used in "30011" (my theory is that no number can be used twice) and 20007 can't be used as 07 is below 10 (another theory of mine is that the numbers are between 10 and 26).

Then again, my theories can be completely wrong. We might know more in the next puzzle. I just hope it's not number 8 (a string of 0s) because I'm pretty certain of that and it's not exactly gonna help me in any way (partly because I can't figure out its significance other than the fact that it is used to break the the first digit sequence).
