They're great, but they could improve on a few things. What kills me is that they're all standing still during The Catalyst. With as much energy as that song has, you'd think they'd be all over the place. I hate that Mike is stuck behind the keyboard. Usually, they're great though.
I haven't yet encountered better, although it doesn't help that I've been to multiple shows. Their 2004 performances were much better than their 2007 ones, for example. I also doesn't help that I haven't been trying to go to concerts. That's an expensive hobby.
I have only been to one, which was last year and Chester was sick, but it was still INSANE, I would like if they talked to the fans a bit more between the songs though, like while they set up for certain songs like WTCFM
i give them a 10 but realized i should have given them a 9 because they never change up their setlists that much compared to you know almost every other band out there but they are great when they perform (have not seen them in person I should say also, this is only from dsp, youtube videos and stuff)
They change the set list all the time. I feel like if you haven't seen them live personally its not the same. YouTube doesn't do justice
Noticed s/he/it said COMPARED to most bands. Yes they rotate setlists, but those setlists in and of themselves aren't that different from each other, and there's not much variation on a set to set basis. Now take NIN for example...
I've only seen Tool, Linkin Park, and Muse in concert. As good as LP is live, they are still the worst group I've seen by a considerable margin.
They're good, but I'd like to see them go even further down the path they did with their ATS live shows. I saw Nero last night, and even though they're an electronic band, their show was like a visual and audial journey of its own. I'd like to see Linkin Park do something like this one day. Maybe when they finally play ATS in its entirety in a set.
