True, it is hard to tell what is going on besides the vocals.

 

When I first heard it, I wasn't digging it. Too poppy for me.

But after a while it grew on me.

Plus, you can't really judge the whole album with one song. MtM had soft songs like Leave out all the Rest and then a song like No More Sorrow.

Besides, it's a crappy cellphone leak. I'll wait for the full song, which I can't wait to hear.

Only time will tell.

Kind of off topic but does any one have this thing listening to Blackout where the screaming chorus sounds like it is just one tone but then the background music makes you half-imagine there is a melody or some thing more to the screaming? It seems like Chester is barely touching on a certain note that makes you second guess whether he is hitting it or not.

It doesn't ban PM links. It bans links that lead to a copyrighted material from which they got a WARNING by Warner. It sounds awful, you can hardly difference anything, but still they can legally chase its sharing, and the LPA will not serve as a gateway for it and risk itself to closure.

 

I was annoyed when people we're judging 'The Catalyst' on the 30 second clip and that was HQ....and people are dismissing this song already after listening to that shitty phone rip. This is why I hate people.

 

Yeah, I can understand posting links on a forum is illegal, but PM links are banned aswell? From a person who's spent his days on Coldplaying and various other forums, this is very heavy! I like heavy though. =P

 

So in other words, Warner Bros. is 1000x more stricter than EMI or any other label?

 

Every company is getting pissed and on the lookout lately. Now every other video with music on YouTube get's deleted because of copyright infringement. Even that video with the drunk guy singing Bohemian Rhapsody with millions of views had to be removed. Eventually YouTube will be forced to reject videos with copyrighted music, symbols or videos before the publisher even has to ask.

 

You tell me :/ .. I can't even post my video covers on YouTube without getting a notice in my email. I even got two vids blocked worldwide. That's stupid.

 

Nah, i'm just saying, because on my days on the Coldplaying forum during the hype for Mylo Xyloto, we were allowed PM links and even links to singles as long it was in this certain forum. EMI and Parlophone didn't seem to give a , but with Warner Brothers it seems, even a crappy phone recording gets the copyright mark by WMG. I think Warner Brothers IS the strictest. Unless you've got another suggestion...

I personally don't mind if it sounds like MTM. I loved that cd. I loved every album from LP, tbh. And this isn't fanboyism, there's plenty of musicians where I like some of their music but not all of it.

 

People who claim that they are able to judge the cell phone leak really must have the absolute hearing/pitch.
If so congrats, otherwise they're brokers who like to speculate upon things they can't handle.
