Eh, people were rightfully sceptical. LP have never had a less than 2 year turn around (HT to Met was like 29 months or something) & lots of bands say they want to release music faster but it rarely happens.

 

I can already see this....People who will not like this new record will argue "F*ck. They should have took more time to work on this record, instead of giving us this fast crappy one.F*ck"

We remember how well LP fell through on their promises to deliver MTM and ATS YEARS before they actually dropped, too. LP have cried wolf over a dozen times before this actual one showed up.

ok so...when Mike said that the anthem "Burn It Down" aka the new single, showcases his And Chester's call-and-response all over electro grooves, can someone explain to me what "electro grooves" are? like maybe an example of a Linkin Park song? i dont think i know what electro grooves are lol

it is probably best left open to interpretation, and also with expectations kept open-minded. Band member describe things so differently than each other that I've slightly learned to tune them out.

It would be hard to explain, no one here has ever listened, and those who have (RS seems to have listened it but who knows) can put all kinds of words in it in an attempt to describe it.

If I asked each and everyone in this thread to describe ATS for example, I think I could get many different descriptions, although most of them will have a point in common, they could express it in many different ways.

I just want to listen to the damn song, jeez can't wait!!
