Gummo & Trash Humpers both equally weird disturbing movies from this director Harmony Korrine. They aren't horror films but they have a very unnerving/unsettling tone to both.

Trash Humpers I can't even give a rating because it's such a mindfck of a film. If you're a casual movie watcher looking for a plot driven peice this definitely isn't something you'll like. If you're into obscure, independent, make you think films then you might like it. That or you'll at least appreciate the conversations that can come out of discussing this with fellow friends who might see it. It's about old people that have sex with trash cans and perform fellatio on tree limbs... so yea lol

Gummo is about a bunch of kids (inbred, hillbillies, and weirdos) in some random trashy town in ohio. They (the kids) go around graphically killing cats, paying others kids to have sex with their mentally ill sisters, curse up storms and everything else in between. It'll make you ask where their parents at. Um I'd give it a 6/10. Not much of a narrative as just kind of a peak in to their lives. It's just kind of a weird film. Directed by Harmony Korrine as well.

Twitchfilm - " The best action movie in decades... "

    ^ Not a fucking lie.

The ost works extremely well in the context of this film, and the action choreography is amazing. You will have so much fun watching this I promise you.

Damn. I hope it comes to our theater. We have an 18 screen theater and it's not here yet, so I don't know what's going on.

That sucks. Hopefully theaters near your local area will be showing the film soon.

I was invited to an advanced screening in my city. The crowd applauded, sighed in relief, and cheered. It was a great experience.

    Source Code - 3/5

It got repetitive really fast and the end left me confused. Lame villain too. Pretty opening titles though.

Jeff Who Lives at Home (8/10)

pretty funny dramedy, it got a little cheesy a couple times but overall I really enjoyed it. It was definitely better than the last movie I watched by the Duplass Brothers, Cyrus.

    The Raid: Redemption
    9-9.5/10

The reviews were right on. The action is mind blowing and Mike's score really does complement the action. That intro synth just makes you want to jump out of your seat and scream "hell yeah! let's start the fucking movie!" and the action scenes sure do make you want to cheer.

And oh yeah, I understand why it's rated R haha

    The Hunger Games - 7/10

Needed less shaky cam, more explicit brutal violence, stupid PG-13. This movie could have been so much better if they said fuck this and went for the R.

    lol...wtf!?

That movie remind me of the time I used to read list of serial killers in the world. That maybe a weird movie but for sure it happened in real life. Much worst though.
