    To be honest, rethinking the situation, I don't think AA lied (as Derek has said they aren't just some blog), but this doesn't seem to add up.

    If the release of the single was to be April 16th, that would give us about 3 weeks from right now. Normally a band as big as Linkin Park would not wait until 3 weeks before the song was to be played for the first time to say anything. And they still haven't said anything.

    Of course, another strategy the band could be using is the Radiohead/Nine Inch Nails way of waiting until the week of and saying "oh, by the way, the album is called ______, it comes out on ______, and a new single comes out friday. kbye." the problem with this is, that wouldn't really work if the song was just being released to radio. maybe if the song is going up on iTunes that same day?

    I'm just trying to grasp what the plan is here. unless April 16th is no longer the correct date.

    My guess. Warner didn't want this out so soon and the date the single is set to hit radio / get released can and probably will change. One thing I whole heartedly believe though, Linkin Park have a song called "Burn It Down" and we're going to hear it sooner than later. My opinion.

    I still believe that the info is true. We can't say they were wrong 'cause the song isn't listed on the AA's website anymore.

    Despites of Mike said in The Raid Premiere, I think the album will be released in the 1st or 2nd week of June, before the solo show in Russia.

    From what i heard Warner announced and confirmed that Burn it down will be released on april 16th, bhowever that band has not confirmed this at all, so who knows really.

    This seems like the most likely scenario.

    That or they're changing the radio impact date just to spite us.
