I respect this opinion... I'm just playing devil's advocate here. I for one choose not to believe it, but I don't condemn anyone who does.

    This I find likely.

Could All Access have posted it prematurely?

Warner didn't want the info out there too soon, just like the Linkin Park/Incubus tour. It's obvious.

This is far more likely than AllAccess posting false information. AA is not a blog. They simply pass information on from official sources. It's why although I do not know for fact this is legit, I'm willing to stake a lot on it being legit because AllAccess is not a rumor mill.

I find it hard to fault all access. If they were given information from a label associate, they had the right to post said information. If the label didn't want anything on the interwebs, they shouldn't have talked to anyone.

So these are the scenarios I see:

    1) All Access is full of sh*t, and blindly posted a release date and title for Linkin Park to increase traffic to their website. (probably not the case.)
    2) Someone at the label dropped the ball.
    3) All Access and the label dropped the ball.
    4) *insert joke about ball dropping here*
    5) It's all on purpose, and part of a grand scheme that we don't see yet.

This is the kind of hard-hitting analysis that you can only get at the LPA.

I think the single will come out on the 16th but i think the album will be out sooner than later, maybe by the end of June, cause if they ARE gonna release the single on the 16th of april than the album is gonna drop in sept thats just too long

On second thought, I agree that we should probably sit tight and wait until the band says something. In the world of music, nothing is ever 100% certain until a band and it's management report it and regardless of AA's source, anything can change in a heartbeat. I may trust AllAccess, but there has to be legitimate reasons why it was taken down and hopefully we'll know more eventually.

Still, regardless of the outcome...this is an exciting time to be a Linkin Park fan.

These are my thoughts exactly! What I've been trying to say all along. Well said Derek.

  15. Is it just me, or is Linkin Park no longer listed on FMQB?? It doesn't say anything about "Burn It Down" anymore. weird.

EDIT: It's not on All Access either. I'm not reading the previous comments on the forum, so if I'm just restating something that's already been said, sorry xD

If there's anything I've learned in my 10 years of running this site, it's that things change rapidly. There could be a thousand reasons why that song is off the site now, and speculating on it is a waste of time.

I don't know, I still believe it because of Jim Digby's tweet to Zane. Very vague answer for something that was never true.
