Linkin Park to Play Skive Festival 2012 in Denmark

    Linkin Park have been confirmed to play Denmark as part of the Skive Festival taking place from May 30th - June 2nd. Linkin Park will headline the first night on Wednesday May 30th, 2012. This announcement comes in the wake of three other festivals which the band have been confirmed to play this summer. You can check out those dates and all other past and future dates on the LPA Tour Page.

    This will be the fourth time Linkin Park have played Denmark, with their most recent show on October 30th, 2010 which took place in Herning at the MCH Outdoor Arena. Anyone from the LPAssociation plan on going to the show? Let us know on the LPA Forums!

    Well this is by far the earliest date for the summer tour. If this is an album supporting tour, it seems like the release date is being pushed further and further closer to us.
    Only time will tell.

    Thing is, this concert is late May. Any earlier and we'd be in next two months territory.

    There's been a rumor (almost for sure) that Linkin Park will play in Rock in Rio, Portugal in May 26. So 4 days before this date.

    Possible with their on going Europe tour. But nothing will be for sure until we have an "official" release from LP.com directly. These concert dates are getting me so excited. Did Lp release concert dates prior to ATS's official release date?

    I don't think so just because they didn't attend festivals because of the primary Fall / Winter touring, it was all their own shows. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    If they're aiming for a June release they'd have to be wrapping the album up right now and sending it off for mixing & mastering. Then we'd probably hear some sort of news/announcement/puzzle in the next week or two.

    But I don't think they are that far along, just last month Phoenix made it sound like they had quite a way to go. So I'll stick with my Sep/Oct release prediction, with the summer tour being more an escape from the studio type deal.

    Either way I'm sure they'll play a new song.

    I don't think LP is going to be playing any new songs. QWERTY was a very unique moment for LP, otherwise, I don't see it ever happening. QWERTY never even made it onto the album. However, if the album comes out during that time, then hell yes new to music

    Objection! They played QWERTY almost one year before MTM so they were in the middle of the writing process. I believe that they're near of finishing the new album (I have that feeling from all the interviews, and Phoenix said they have couple of song already finished) so I think we will hear a song or two on this tour.
